1. Purpose of This Policy
This Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on the Investorhood website and the distinction from the V1 mobile application.

The native V1 app does not rely on browser cookies for its core features, but it does use local storage and SDKs.
2. What Cookies Are
Cookies are files or identifiers stored by the website/browser for session management, security, preferences, and, where applicable, measurement or marketing.
In mobile apps, similar functions may be achieved through local storage, tokens, and SDKs.
3. Who Sets the Technology
Website: Investorhood and the technical providers integrated into the website may use cookies.
The V1 app: uses services such as Supabase, YouTube, Google Gemini, and the notification infrastructure, but does not include Analytics/Crash Reporting and does not use cross-app tracking.
4. Categories Used
4.1. Strictly necessary
On the website, these may be used for:
- security;
- session management;
- remembering privacy choices;
- form protection.
In the V1 app, local storage is used for preferences such as the watchlist and reminders.
4.2. Preferences and functionality
These may include language, interface, or other preferences.
V1 does not include public Playback Settings.
4.3. Analytics and performance
The V1 app does not include Analytics or Crash Reporting SDKs.
If the website uses analytics, those technologies must be documented in the website's inventory and activated in accordance with the applicable consent rules.
4.4. Marketing
The V1 app does not use advertising IDs, cross-app tracking, or targeted advertising SDKs.
If the website uses marketing cookies, they must be managed separately through the banner/preferences panel.
4.5. Embedded content
The YouTube player may use its own technologies and may communicate with Google/YouTube. The content and ads within the player are also governed by the Google/YouTube policies.
5. Legal Basis for Use
Strictly necessary technologies may be used to provide the requested function.
For non-essential technologies on the website, consent is requested where the applicable legislation so requires, including Romanian Law no. 506/2004.
6. The Preferences Panel
For the website, if optional technologies are used, the user must be able to:
- accept;
- reject;
- configure the options;
- withdraw their choice later.
The button for rejecting optional technologies must be easily accessible and must not be hidden through design.
7. The Exact Inventory
The website's cookie inventory must be maintained within the website's consent mechanism.
We do not declare in this document any cookies, SDKs, or durations that have not been technically confirmed.

8. Duration
The duration of the website's cookies must correspond to the actual technical configuration.
The app's local storage persists according to its function and can be removed through the app, by clearing the app's data, or by uninstalling.
9. Mobile Apps: SDKs, Permissions, and Tracking
V1:
- uses notifications;
- uses local storage;
- does not use Analytics;
- does not use Crash Reporting;
- does not use IDFA / cross-app tracking;
- does not display App Tracking Transparency because there is no V1 tracking purpose.
10. Browser Settings
You can manage the website's cookies through your browser and through the preferences panel available on the website, if implemented.
11. Privacy Signals
We respect privacy settings and signals to the extent they are applicable and supported by the technology used.

13. Updates
This Policy is updated when the website's or the app's technologies change.
